        Deze opdracht betreft het sluiten van een dienstenovereenkomst op afroep voor het uitvoeren van allerlei IT-taken zoals: projectcoördinatie, de functionele analyse van processen, het ontwikkelen en testen van java IT-toepassingen, het schrijven van documentatie, het onderhouden van deze toepassingen evenals het uitvoeren van de database administratie voor deze en andere toepassingen.

        Deze taken zullen zich voornamelijk situeren binnen, doch zijn niet beperkt tot, het OASIS-programma en het GISMO-programma van de Universiteit Gent. Het OASIS-programma betreft de automatisering van de onderwijs- en studentenadministratie van de Universiteit Gent. Het GISMO-programma betreft de automatisering van onderzoeksadministratie e.a. onderzoeksactiviteiten van de Universiteit Gent.

        Deze opdracht wordt opgesplitst in 2 percelen in functie van de profielen nodig voor het uitvoeren van de taken. Deze profielen worden in deel 5 — Technische vereisten nader beschreven.

        De opdracht bestaat uit de verschillende projecttaken die deel uitmaken van een grootschalige ontwikkelomgeving met onder meer: projectcoördinatie, de functionele analyse van processen, het ontwikkelen en testen van java-toepassingen, het schrijven van documentatie, en het onderhouden van deze toepassingen. De voorgestelde profielen zullen samen met UGent informatici deel uitmaken van diverse ontwikkelteams. De program manager (zie verder) werkt schouder aan schouder met de UGent teamlead van het ontwikkelteam.
