         De Universiteit Gent plant de bouw van twee studentenverblijven met een totale capaciteit van 567 units. Eén home wordt voorzien op campus Sterre (Krijgslaan 281 te Gent); 1 home wordt voorzien op campus Heymans (UZ Gent, De Pintelaan 185 te Gent). Op campus Heymans wordt ook een nieuw studentenrestaurant voorzien. Ook dit maakt deel uit van de opdracht. Het restaurant omvat in hoofdzaak een verbruiksruimte met 320 zitplaatsen, een bedieningsruimte en freeflow, afwaskeuken, regeneratiekeuken, opslag, koel- en vriesruimte, sanitair,…..

         De opdracht omvat de opmeting van de bestaande toestand, de studie en opvolging van de werken en omvat de architectuur, alle technieken en prestaties in het kader van energieprestatieregelgeving, Vlarea en duurzaamheid.
